Thank you for all the wonderful birthday wishes! It really brightened what was already a wonderful day. One of the boys’ girlfriend sent me flowers and a pink diamond paperweight – it was wonderful. Another friend recorded his little boys on FaceBook wishing me a happy birthday – so sweet. My boys loved and fawned on me as did my husband and all my friends called, texted or messaged me in one form or another. I am truly loved and it feels amazing.
I want to apologize if I’m not commenting on the wonderful blogs I’m reading. I know how much I love to read the comments and I really do love to comment. But I have a new assignment at work that is keeping me extremely busy and the computers we have at work (on my lunch hour of course) won’t let me comment on most of your blogs. I try when I get home but my iPad sometimes acts funny when I try to comment as well. So know that I am reading your blogs and finding peace, laughter, joy and pain and I thank you for publishing them out here in blogger land. They really are a life line.
I’m sick. Okay…I’m not really all that sick but my petri dish of a son gave me his cold or upper respiratory infection or whatever and I feel like well…like crap. My boss keeps telling me to go home so I will as soon as I get a few more things done. Yuck.
I heard back from my Congressman and the bank about my mortgage. The bank said they are “investigating” my issue (which is banker code for “go away little girl”) and my Congressman sent me a form to complete so they can request information on my behalf. It’s not much but it’s something!
Still no word on whether or not they overturned the prom decision and it’s this weekend. That’s okay – there is always next year…and the kids are all willing to fight next year because they’ll be seniors. Bring it school district – Ima open up a can of whoop ass!
So I’m signing off now. I’m going to go home and climb into bed and hopefully feel better tomorrow. I really never get sick and not feeling well makes me whine and you KNOW how I feel about whining so I’d better get to gettin’ cause I’m getting on my own nerves.
